She spent every summer and march break doing drama camps around Southern Ontario with various companies including, Stratford Shakespeare School, Market Hall Performing Arts Center, Green Roof theatre, Capitol Kids, Northumberland Players, and many more. It was there that she began meeting directors and producers and auditioning for community theatre productions.

Being a homeschooled student through elementary her and her mother invested most of their time auditioning, being involved in productions, and taking dance and martial arts classes. Once grade nine came around Zoe applied to the Peterborough Integrated Arts program and was accepted into the dramatic arts program where she studied under Steve and Dianne Russell and Tracy Germa (Hughes). In grade ten she was required to choose a high school minor of which she chose dance and studied under Susie Clarke. Outside of school, she took dance classes including ballet, intermediate hip hop, advanced contemporary, and jazz/musical theatre. Miss Devereaux-Glover did co-op placements for performance and arts administration at both Market Hall Performing Arts Center and the Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts. Both of these co-ops led her to get an apprenticeship at Market Hall doing behind the scenes stage management and lighting design. Zoe soon became established in the Port Hope and Peterborough Area doing work both on stage and behind the scenes. She worked on shows with companies including but not limited to 4th Line Theatre, The Peterborough Theatre Guild, Dancyn Productions, Anne Shirley Theatre Company, and Shakespeare Street Theatre.
